The journey of Creative has seen a growth with each year of our evolution. As part of that growth, we are in the midst of creating our second school campus and a healing, retreat centre. This campus is currently being set up in a 34 acre campus that is situated in the district of Doddaballapur, in a village called Kalkunte.

The children have christened this place “Freedom Land” which is going to be a Centre for Conscious Living that stands for “Inner Freedom and Outer Productivity”.

Going hand in hand with education, we intend to undertake many projects on the campus. One of them being a project that we call ‘Thousand together’.

Thousand together, is a project that aims to bring thousand people together to help re-green the land through various environmental projects. Our land in Doddaballapur is in a drought prone area that has experienced loss of green forests and drying of water sources. We decided to collaborate and work together to experience the joy of re-greening our campus.

Broadly, the projects that we will undertake in this campaign are:

- Afforestation: Planting trees all across the campus that are medicinal, native, sacred and fruit bearing.
- Water conservation: Creating water harvesting resources (ponds, soak pits, swales, bunds, trenches, wetland habitats) to renew and recharge the water table on the land.
- Natural farming: Growing organic produce for the entire community on the campus.
- Renewable energy technology: Installation of solar panels, water recycling, waste management to minimize our carbon footprint.

As part of our afforestation efforts, over the past several months, along with our children we have planted over 3500 trees and our goal is to have more than 50,000 trees and shrubs planted over time.

The power of collective effort far exceeds the sum of the individual efforts. Let us come together to take the next steps. If a thousand of us come together and contribute whatever possible, we can manifest a world we have dreamed of for our children.
